Lyrics: Mirror

Just a few months ago, I had an accident/ Hurt my wife bad ,she almost called it quits/ I thank God for the grace He put on my life/ Jesus Christ is the only way she still my wife/ Said I never wanted to be just like my daddy was, but that generation curse came after us/ See I slipped, but I didn’t fall all the way/ But that cost was so high that I gotta pay

Mirror on the wall, here we go again/ Lookin’ at my life, fallin’ down again/ Lord help me up, I don’t like this/ Sometimes I get weak, and I can’t fight it

Hard head never listen, cost my family money/ Showin’ off, jumped the fence, and it wasn’t funny/ “Supermaned” in the air actin’ like a dummy/ Satan want my life, he tried to take it from me/ Now my family gotta pay for a broke neck?/ Lost a government job ‘ya a nice check/ But the wife got my back, she ain’t left yet/ She see the greatness in me people ain’t seen yet.

Mirror on the wall, here we go again/ Lookin’ at my life, fallin’ down again/ Lord help me up, I don’t like this/ Sometimes I get weak, and I can’t fight it

Ugh kinda cocky with the Word like I know it all/ But the Word says, “Pride comes before the fall,” / Like the messages weren’t for me, it was just for y’all/ Actin’ like my spirit man standin’ too tall/ They told my pastor I was walkin’ in that arrogance/ I had to check myself, ‘cho there it went/ I thank God for the pastor and the time we spent/ He came with the shovel and got me out the trench.
